Landmannalaugar, September 2013
The approaching storm made for some beautiful and captivating light. Within minutes of taking this exposure along the hike to the peak of Mt. Bláhnúkur, I was met with intermittent snow and sleet alternating with brief sunshine. Surreal, and Iceland at its best. Fortunately, on the ascent, there were a few large rocks that provided temporary shelter against the elements.
