This is an angled perspective of the beautiful valley between Mt. Bláhnúkur and an enormous wall of lava. Given the variety of amazing light on this day, quickly changing from soft and warm to cool and contrasty, one could have spent an entire day studying the interesting textures, contours, and shadows here - the compositions within the composition, as I like to call it. ;-)
