In my humble opinion, Torrey Pines is one of the most spectacular intersections of light, land, and sea that there is. And with this mood in mind, on an early winter morning, I set out to capture the quintessence of this small, yet breathtaking, strip of coastal California. The air was cold and crisp. The skies were mostly clear. The sea was calm. And the dawn of light over this canyon was warm, radiant, and memorable.
